The
only AAA four-diamond rated B&B in New Orleans is the historic
Elysian Fields Inn, located in the
Faubourg Marigny.
B&B guests enjoy the close proximity to the  French Quarter (only 5
short blocks) and the Frenchmen Street shops and restaurants.
Once a grand but downtrodden property, a remarkable transformation and
renovation has taken place. A total renovation from 1999-2001
transformed the home into a an 1860's grand inn with every comfort of
the 21st century.
Guests can enjoy any one of eight guestrooms, each with private bath
and most with jacuzzi tubs. The inn has one suite with queen bed and a
separate living room with sleeper sofa. Pocket doors divide the two
rooms
for more privacy.
All rooms offer flat screen cable television with VCR/DVD player,
high-speed internet data port, voicemail and free local calling.
Owners Gregg Smith and Sal Sapienza hope that evening wine, hors
d'oeuvres and nightly turndown service are just a few of the extra
