If you don't believe professional travel writers, believe the thousands of guests who love The Fine Inns of New Orleans!   Here's a very small sampling of guest comments:

I have stayed at H.H.Whitney several times and each time has been a wonderful experience! The hosts go out of their way to ensure you feel at home and enjoy your time in the wonderful city of New Orleans. They're very knowledgeable about the city and can recommend places to go, things to see and the best restaurants in which to dine. The house and decor are exquisite! I highly recommend you stay in this beautiful home with it's charming hosts.

We went to the House on Bayou Road for a honeymoon stay and it was wonderful. The breakfast was great -- if the weather is warm, they serve it out by the pool, which is nice. We stayed in 2 different rooms, due to our late booking, and both were lovely. Wonderful antiques in the rooms and nice little touches, like bath salts and sherry.

Our stay at La Maison Marigny was a delightful introduction to New Orleans. The B&B was beautifully decorated, homey, quiet, and accessible. It was the perfect distance from the night life, further down on Bourbon Street, to walk off that delicious cuisine we sampled. John was so friendly and accommodating, it was like having our own tour counselor. He would listen to our plans for the day and give us tips and suggestions in addition to the freshly baked muffins or scones he made daily for breakfast. First timers to the city need to stay at a friend's house or at La Maison Marigny, where they treat you about the same. I'm sure we'll stay there again.

My sister and I have stayed in B&B's throughout Europe, but nowhere have we experienced the unsurpassed hospitality that Patrick and Karma extended at Ashton's B&B. Staying in the restored Southern mansion surrounded by beautiful antique furniture, leaded glass windows, and gleaming wood floors added richly to our experience. The gourmet breakfasts were mouthwatering -- the company exceptional.

I have thoroughly enjoyed each of my stays at the Grand Victorian. The antique furnishings make you feel like you have stepped back in time to an elegant plantation. The innkeeper is always friendly and knowledgeable and the rooms are immaculate. Truly a first class experience!

The B&W Courtyard is a wonderful place to stay -- conveniently located within comfortable walking distance to the French Quarter. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable and the owners, Rob and Kevin, are just great. We got excellent advice on restaurants, things to do, and places to see. The B&B experience is also far superior to staying in a hotel. We made new friends and generally had a wonderful time. After a long day of walking about, it was great to come back and relax in the hot tub. You can't go wrong staying here!
